      Thanks Susi, yes it was pretty horrible, we're really copping it at the moment. Now we have floods in Melbourne, the capital of Victoria.

    Poor woman!  I feel for her badly.  It would be trite to say that at least she is alive.  The emergency seems to have been handled very well, with no deaths that I have heard of.

      Yeah they did handle it very well, lots of early warning and they made people evacuate. One man has died today from fumes from his generator because the power is out in large areas.

    You Aussies are having a hard time right now.  I know what this kind of thing is like, my niece lives on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, USA, and they have this kind of thing EVERY winter...... good luck to you all
