    Love the name 'slippery dip'....... we would say water slide but it doesn't have the same ring....... btw is there any water there?

      There's no water there at the moment Myra because they are renovating the wading pool. Water comes in from the ocean with the tide, there is always a couple of feet in there and more at high tide. This is one of my favourite spots, we used to come here with my grandparents when I was wee !!

        Ah, now I understand...... we have some like that too, fed by sea water, but in this country you have to be hardy to use them! Thanks for the explanation, Peter.
