The butchers chopping block is still inside the shop. It is a great big tree stump. Sid Hodges was my mothers great uncle also, she can remember going there as child. Her father worked as a baker in the old general store in the 40's and early 50's. Susan McDowell

Warren Ryan was born in the house to the left on August 8, 1923 (Matt Ryan)

This shop was run by Sid Hodges, my great uncle. He had a house behind the shop which burned down, and a wooden "garage" for a sulky. In the attic of the garage he kept his valuables.. amngst them, some books. Matt Ryan
