Welcome to fotki.

You asked about shots of the moon. The secret is to take as short an exposure as you can because that will reduce the massive amount of light that comes from the moon, so you can see the details of the seas, craters etc on the surface. Sometimes I fire the flash too, it seems to add to the effect somehow.

Uh, really thanks for your suggestion, I concentrate always on exposure time, and not on the light. you're great ;)
