White-breasted Ground Doves

Status: Abundant

Diet: Seeds and fruit found on the forest floor.

Habitat: Tropical forest and adjacent woodlands

Breeding: Two eggs are layed on a stick platform usually Spring to Summer.

White-breasted Ground Doves nest in colonies, they need to be housed large planted avaries as they can get very aggressive towards each other.
