Learning how to take macro photos. All advice gratefully received.

    I have no idea what is wrong here, it is not very spectacular is it...but it is not bad either.
    Was it moving very fast? why did you use ISO 400...too little natural light maybe?
    A high ISO seems to eat away a bit of the detail not what we want, do we?
    I don't know your camera possibilities though...


    It was moving but not fast. I used the auto ISO setting so today I'll change it to 80 and 100 ISO.
    well Peter, when it was not moving fast then the shot sucks!

    you obviously focused on the head which s you have F 3.8 you won't have much depth but nice dof...the blurry bits are due to that and a bit to the movements
    This is not bad at all Peter...macro often needs a bit of work in PS to give it a wow-factor ...I will have a look for you!
