The Mount Panorama Scenic Drive was built by Bathurst City Council in 1938 to stage the Australian Grand Prix and over the next 60 years the circuit has developed to become world famous as one of the last great “road circuits”.
Bathurst City Council has allowed the special release of land for this project, but unlike Gold Coast, this will not be the start of a massive over-development, this is a once off opportunity.
There are a range of apartments available in this $50 million development to suit all tastes and budgets. Construction will coincide with work to upgrade the Mount Panorama pits – a project backed by $26 million funding from local, state and federal government.
Starting at $275,000 for one bedroom “Trackside” apartments with 10 metre square balcony, the apartments vary in size and layout up to the spectacular million dollar two-storey “Penthouse”. The luxury Penthouse apartments also include a double lock-up garage.
Other units include the:
“Mountain View” – One bedroom 50 metre square apartments with a 10 metre square balcony which has spectacular views of Mount Panorama.
“Panorama” – Slightly larger corner one bedroom apartments that are 55 metre square and feature a 11 metre square balcony.
“Chase” and “Conrod” – from 112 metre square these have three bedrooms and are the biggest apartments on offer. They have high quality finishes throughout and includes 25 metre square balcony, ideal for entertaining on race day while looking right down Conrod Straight.
The resort rental pool will be managed when you decide to let your apartment. You will be required to purchase a furniture package which includes: 40” LCD TV, lounge suite, beds, fridge, curtains and other kitchen items for your investment property. This will ensure the 5 star luxury status of the hotel is maintained at all times.
