Is this one of those multi-trailer rigs? They are a real menace on the road.
==========
This is called a B Double in Australia and has a prime mover and 2 trailers. They're only allowed to put the third trailer on when they're right out West. They certainly take some overtaking, especially in the dirt!! Most of the drivers here are pretty good with a few cowboys who give the rest a bad name.
It is a good thing you don't see these on the road very often. It looks like you use the rule we have here in Connecticut that over-size loads have to have escorts both infront and behind.

Yes and they're only allowed certain hours of daylight to travel in. This guy had a police escort as well.
Not really this one. A normal combi is just 18 meters
A truck with a half size trailer and a full size trailer behind we call a LZV: Langere en Zwaardere Vrachtauto’s (translated: Longer and Heavier Trucks) or ecocombi. In Holland it's an experiment. The trucks have to drive standard routes, may not pass other vehicles, and can't stop at every gasstation. http://www.worldcargonews.com/htm/n20041119.319622.htm
