The Indian Pacific travels across Australia on one of the world’s longest and greatest train journeys.
It starts in Sydney on the East Coast goes up through the spectacular Blue Mountains to the treeless plains of The Nullarbor, where the train travels the world’s longest straight stretch of railway track (478 kilometres), and ends in Perth on the West Coast, covering 4352kms.
The journey takes 4 days and three nights.
I haven't made the trip yet so these photos are not mine. They're just to whet my appetite until we go!
Some photos are from the Indian Pacific website and some are from a video of the trip I found.
