AquaWorld’s four professional divers take high risk dives from a twenty metre high diving tower into two and a half metres of water. Luke Jones who once dived for Australia, retiring in 2004 to travel the world to perform in diving shows, said, “There are always huge risks, in 2003 I broke my back and hit my head. The fear of hitting the bottom of the tank is the scariest though for me, it is only eight feet deep.”
The AquaWorld High Dive Show has the astonishing conclusion of World Champion, Steve Black diving off the twenty metre tower while on fire. “I’ve always got to have my fire suit well-prepared before I take the dive, you don’t have much time so you have to make sure you don’t panic, otherwise the first reaction is to jump when you are not ready”, Steve Black explained.
