    Looks like a wonderful park to walk about :-)
    I'm sure you and the family had a great time!

    It was just Alex and me and you're right it was great, you could spend a week there.

    cool Pete!
    How many people did you have to push off in order to get such a people-free, clear shot??? :-)

    ==============

    Only the initial 11

    Paddy Pallin store sale
    Anything in particular you wanted Pete?

    They had a sale on marathon running gear, so I stocked up.

    Kings Park benches
    It looks so inviting - I hope you had a cup of tea or a picnic.
    Lovely quiet restful scene

    ==========

    No rest for this little black duck, Alex set a cracking pace and when I lagged behind she got the trusty stockwhip out. People have no idea what I have to put up with at home!!
    ++++++++++
    I think I asociate parks with picnics/cups of tea...because mum and dad were great believers in bringing a thermos and sandwich when we went on trips in the car. No matter how long or short the journey, it would usually involve getting out and enjoying a brief stay at a park with a cup of tea and a bicsuit in hand :-)

    ========

    Great habit!

    if the flowers on the plaque are anything to go by, should be a very pretty bed indeed.

    Frog in pond - very still
    excellent catch Pete! he must have been posing if he was that still - or perhaps he was planning his attack of the paparazzo photog who was standing in his sunlight :-)

    =========

    Just after this he turned around and growled at me, just before he was rivetted (rivitt, rivitt) by my dashing good looks.
    +++++++++
    either that or rivetted with intense distain :-)

    Federation Walkway 001
    The walkway idea is excellent! nice for a pleasant stroll as opposed to hard bushwalking!!

    Nice perspective too
