I LOVE Rosemary Clooney! She's up there with my other favorite, Dean Martin. I have the Essential Dean Martin on CD. It's awesome. Now I'll have to get a Rosemary Clooney album.
Way cool pic bro, no wonder you're such a good photographer - you've been at it for a while! What sort of camera is that mate?

The camera is a 4x5 Speed Graphic. This was a very commonly used camera among press photographers for many years and you see it frequently in the old movies. It used 4x5 cut film in holders that would contain two sheets back-to-back. Once you inserted the holder in the camera you removed a dark slide to open the one sheet so the picture could be shot. You then replaced the slide, flipped the holder over, so the other sheet was in position and took the next shot.
In the theater work, I used that camera to make publicity photos that I would blow up to 30 x 40 inches. This is the standard theatrical poster size you see on the front of most theaters. I would do two such shots a week, plus the pictures to be released to the newspapers.
This just came up on the Community pics, Peirce, it is a great pic, I bet you enjoyed her performance......

It was the summer of 1962, in Naples, Italy. The Flamingo Club is located on a hill just outside the city and, during the summer, uses an outdoor setting.
Her nephew is kinda cute. ;-)

In this picture I am pointing to one of my poster-sized pictures. This one was for the Noel Coward play, "Blythe Spirit."

You are absolutely correct. It seems strange that she was well known as a band singer during her long career, but now is just known as George's aunt.

I'm old enough to know who she was but young enough to think her nephew is just hot!
