Its a shame the condition of the TONAWANDA VALLEY. The once proud exNYC obs car that ran on the world famous 20TH CENTURY LTD left Cleveland Ohio in the mid 80s with its orginal furniture the car was intact. I would like to know the rest of the story.

I would not dream of traveling in that one...but I guess it is safe? or is it only a museum piece??? :)

It is a museum piece. Restoration work has barely started. At one time it was very much a luxury car, used by the railroad executives. This is what American railorads call a "business car."

It almost looks like one of those old Amtrak commuter trains I use to take into NYC on the Metro-North line.

We have some coaches that pre-date Metro North, built prior to 1928. This one is what is called a business car. It was originally used exclusively by the railroad executives.

The years haven't been kind

Very true. The roof has been redone and a group of volunteers started some restoration work on the inside.
