Ok y'all, so for better or for worse, I've been doing my own hair for the past two months or so. I am doing this in an effort of save some time, money and to learn my hair better. Not that I have completely given up the salon, I've just hit a really busy spell in my life right now and can't make my appointments.

This month I have been trying to learn certain styles like two stranded flat twists, so that I can have some more D.I.Y knowledge under my belt.

I know most of you guys have been doing your own hair since day one, while I have been D.I.M most of the time but not 100% of the time, so this should be interesting,lolol.

Today I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and I saw some natural hair inspiration, I wanted to share with ya'll :)

I am so bored with my hair lately, while I'm pleased with the progress its making as far as health and growth, I really wish I could do more styles with it. Its at a funny length for styling because its to long to do simple, quick styles I used to love like just putting clips on the sides...but too short to do more elaborate styles like certain buns and updos.... I'm thinking about locing more and more

I love my hair and am grateful for the process of becoming natural but Ive been considering other options lately either locs or cutting really low like a Ceasar style I dont know, I have been told both would work well for me, but both are a big step. Being that I transitioned I never really got to experience the freedom of having no hair so it may be a fun change.
