Eastern Meadowlark

One of my favorites, listening to the Meadowlarks in the spring. Meadowlarks are spring grassland nesters. I either find them hiding in tall grasses or perched on branches or posts while they sing for mates. They do have a rather sleek body but sometimes when singing they'll puff out their whole body and feathers.
