My wife Dana, Doug Austin, and I tried to take a picture of every student who competed in these races. Because the students are so evenly matched, they are sometimes in such tightly packed groups that it is hard to get individual pictures.

Dan Grossman took pictures througout the day, at the Start, at the half-way point, and at the Finish. Dana Grossman took pictures at the Finish. Doug Austin shot at the Start, half-way point, and then just into the woods 200 meters out from the Finish.

I coordinated and directed the design and construction of Thetford Academy's trail in 1991. I maintained the trail and was meet director of its cross-country events until I retired from the production of the events in 2003. Thetford Academy honored me by naming the trail after me this year.

I take all these picture for one reason: it pleases me to do so. I take these pictures as a volunteer. It is fun (and encouraging) for me to hear comments about the pictures.
