My first year all natural. I love it!!!! Never going back to the perm. NEVER!!!! I did the big chop on July 22cd (a day before my 25th birthday). The pics were actually taken from July up til the present. Please feel free to leave comments. XOXO

It just so happens that my Nappyversary is also my Birthday!!!!! Here are some fierce pics taken on that day, and up until September (14 months in). This whole summer I wore twists and twist outs to avoid heat damage.

These are pics that display my hair transitioning up until 5 months. You may see more hats than hair (at first) because I'm still getting adjusted to my new hair life. Around 3 months in I began to feel more comfortable wearing my hair out as my locs grew. I started to appreciate my hair's personality, each loc has it's own character and I adore each one all the same.

July 09 marks my 6th month and I must say....I'm loving everything about my locs. The way they fuzz, the length, the swing action i'm finally getting, the width. All of them have began budding (signs of progression) and the ends are trying to seal. None of them are completely alike (except for the ones in the middle of my dome). I'm looking forward to the future of my hair.

I called this one 'ease on down the road' because I always thought my loc journey would be like life at times, difficult & unpleasant until you get to your destination. Yet, it's been a transitional breeze. Each month is field with new surprises. The length now is my natural loose hair length. So I can only imagine what it will look like years to come...Enjoy the album!

Well I remember being a voyer on this site...wishing I had the guts to go natural! Now I'm a do-er and who woulda thought i'd have locs, long one's at that (they're not that long, but long enough) The prgression is amazing.
