Bracket needs to be removed

This bracket will need to be cut or ground off. You don't need to be too fancy as this area ends up on the bottom and is out of view.
I used a die grinder and ground off the welds. You could simply cut it off with a hack saw. No worry about rusting as the entire muffler and bracket is satinless steel.
