HOW DO YOU SEW IN TRACKS? IS IT EASY TO DO? AND WHAT TOOLS DO I NEED TO ATTEMPT THIS !

This is nice, how long do you strecth out your relaxers. While switching up on your perms do this harm your hair or change the texture of it. Do you still wear weaves in your hair sometimes and if so do you have any pictures to show.And do you glue added tracks or braid them in.

Thank you. I usually go about 3 to 4 months without a relaxer. Constant switching of relaxers may be harmful to the hair but since I hardly ever switch up, it has not been a problem. I haven't worn a full weave in my hair since early last year. Now I only really use tracks if I want to add highlights. There is one picture of it in my hair album. In that picture, I sewed it in without using an actual cornrow (a braidless technique - also known as the Malaysian technique).

Thank you. Yes, I do my own trims. It's no special technique really. I trim my hair in sections starting from the back. It's quite difficult to explain but I basically have to do some sort of "twisting" action (lol) with my arm just to make sure that it gets trimmed evenly.

How did you prevent your hair from thinning because I heard that wearing weaves can cause damage to your hair(I think its called traction alopecia)?

I kept my hair moisturized underneath while wearing the weave. Then I took extra care in detangling my hair after removing the weave.

Hi, u said that u go 5 to 7 months without a relaxer when u wear weaves, i was just wondering if ur weaves are a full set or a half set, cuz if its a half set then how do u maintain ur hair at the top for 5 to 7 months, do u just flat iron that section?

They were partial weaves (just the front left out). I would straighten the new growth only. I rarely used a flat iron for the whole top section.

Hi. I shampoo my hair once weeky or bi-weekly. I trim as needed - most likely every 2 months or so. I get relaxers every 3 to 4 months when I'm wearing my own hair. When I wear weaves, I normally go about 5 to 7 months without a relaxer. I deep condition every 6 weeks or so. I always wrap my hair up at night with a satin scarf.

Are growing your color out or is that your natural shade?
