My girl wants to know how you get your hair tied back so tidily? She has thick hair and always ends up with a bump around her hairtie?!
*************
Tell her to comb/brush all of her hair neatly into one hand (as if she were going to use her fist as the ponytail holder/scruchie). Then once all of the hair is neat and in place, secure the hair with the scrunchie. After that, it should be nice and neat without bumps.
Hi Reniece, I just wanted to say you are my inspiration. I am starting fresh with a new routine and wanted to run it by you and what you thought about it. My hair is currently shoulder length and is very very coarse and thick. It was past shoulder length almost bra-strap until I had about 1" cut off a month or so ago due to bad ends and not properly taking care of it over the summer and have learned my lesson. I have started again doing conditioner washes almost everyday. Also back to trimming my ends to every 8 weeks which seems better for my hair and before it was about every 3-4 months or so to getting my ends trimmed. I have been stretching out my relaxers to about three months. My desired dream length is bra-strap. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Bridgette ***************************************************** Hi Bridgette,
I'm happy to hear that I am your inspiration. Your regimen sounds pretty good. The only thing I don't know about is the conditioner-washing everyday. --That may be a bit excessive. Or do sweat out your hair everyday from exercise, etc?
your hair is so amazingly beautiful!! Can you please give me some advice to long and beautiful hair like yours?! my email adress is so_ashanti@hotmail.com but it is ok if you want to advice me on this forum. thanks *************************** Thanks alot :) Since I haven't seen your hair I cannot give you a customized regimen.
The main thing I can say is keep your hair moisturized, trim your ends on a regular basis, trim off thin ends, and try to stretch out your relaxers atleast 3 months.
