Reniece....when I tell you that you are a blessing AND AN INSPIRATION to african american women EVERYWHERE....I MEAN IT!!!....I really don't see the logic in your methods....not to question your talent or exprience but you perform miracles!!! I feel that it extends beyond your products, weaves ,regimens, etc....you have cultivating-GROWING hands!!! i.e...my mother was a licensed cosmotologist/entrepenuer before she sold her salon in jan' of 01....now my mother is huge on hair care (she comes from the old skool) and so does her beautician. Now being in the hair industry, you become acquainted with the names and reputations of other beauticians in the state/city and my mother's beautician is the coldest in Cinti.....but no one grows my mothers hair like the woman on the strip of my mother's old salon.(and this woman isn't even a great stylist, her relaxer applications are slipshod at best but my mother's hair was waist-line length when she stopped coming.....being that her preferred beautican likes to charge hollywood prices and my mom is in her doctoral program in between apts she barders with the other beautician and everytime she comes back her hair starts growin like weeds!) I said all that to say...i feel that you have that same gift!!! i'd be willing to bet that if an individual followed the hair growth process step by step...they wouldn't experience the same results!!! I just want to congradulate you on your professional as well as personal success....your hair....STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!(As well as the lady who underwent a 2yr 9mth process-blue shirt) Gorgeous work Reniece!! Continue to make us beautiful!!!

PS. I would love to speak to you regarding my hair is that in any way possible!!! Shoot I'd make an apt for consultation if Iived in Maryland!

Hi, Reniece! This is my 1st look @ your album. Your hair looks GREAT! I have a teenager whose hair is in the same condition as your beginning photos. I have tried everything but her hair just won't grow.
I've not tried a weave method but I'm thinking a few sew-in tracks from about her mid-ear, to right before the nape of her neck (she likes wearing ponytails)would give her versatility as well as jump-start her growth. I know a good trim is in order.
What do you suggest? I need all the help I can get

Thank you for then nice comments. I sent you an email.

hey!I have natural hair ,i never had a perm or anything and i want my hair to grow like yours could all this happen without me getting a perm? Like can my hair grow as thick and as long as yours in two years? Can you tell me some of the products you use? And one more question when are you going to post more pics of your hair i would love to see how it looks now!

Yes, you can certainly grow your hair long without getting a relaxer. I currently use BBD’s Triple Slip Reconstructing shampoo, BBD Stretch Growth Crème and Keala oil. I still use Vitapointe for my ends. I also like Silk2’s shampoos and conditioners. I’m going to update my pictures within the next couple of weeks.

What dose Vitapointe do for your hair does it make it grow faster or keeps your ends from being split? Do you use super gro lite on your scalp or your hair, what does the biotin shampo do to your hair, and what should i do to my hair right after washing it should i put something on it? If so what should i use?
by the way your hair looks great girl keep doin da damn thang!!!!!

It keeps the hair moisturized. I’ve used Super Gro Lite mainly on my scalp but I haven’t used it in a long while. For my hair, Biotin shampoo made my hair strands feel thick and my hair felt very full and fluffy. After shampooing, you can use a leave-in conditioner of your choice or use something like Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops serum, Redken Heat Glide serum, or BBD’s Keala Oil or Flat-ironing lotiong for blow-drying. Thanks!

Okay. My question is where do you purchase these products? Can you get them at any black hair supply store? Are they professional products? I've never heard of most of them (Nexxus and Vitapointe are the exceptions).

You can purchase them from me, or any hair salon.

I think your hair is beautiful and I with hard work and time my hair will be the same. I was wondering if you could PLEASE tell me the products you use in your hair. I am trying to look for products that work best for me and I wanted to see what worked for you. I have been flipping through your pages and I didn't see any list, maybe I missed it. Thank you very much!!!!!
    Vicky

Thank you Vicky. I normally use Nexxus Botanoil shampoo and Ensure conditioner or Abba Moisture Scentsation shampoo & conditioner. Those products have worked great for me. On my last shampoo, I started using Silk2's Longer & Stronger shampoo & MoiStar conditioner. It made my hair soft and manageable and it smells great! I also used BBD's Silkening Flat Iron Lotion for the first time and it worked well on my hair - I've only used it once (last week) and the sweet scent is STILL in my hair. I love that. It's obvious that I love good, great-smelling products :o) Last but not least, I still love my Vitapointe.

how long did it take u to achieve to get ur hair like this?
    ***********************************************************
It took about 2 years or so. I trimmed alot of my hair off during that timeframe so it would've been longer.

Your hair is very pretty. I sent you an email in regards to some products. I would love your advice on how to get my hair back on track.
