This is how my hair looks when I take it down after wearing one bantu knot under the satin scarf that I use. View "My Satin Scarf Method" folder for more info.

your hair looks very pretty much like my daughters did two years ago. she is now 13 and her hair looks just like yours did when you first started your challenge. i thought i would give some freedom in doing her hair but instead, she broke it off at least 5 inches. any suggestions to get her back on track with growing it back?
thanks, concerned mom *********************************************************** Wow, five inches? That's quite a bit of breakage. Was it broken off by a relaxer, too much heat? If so, you should keep heat off of the hair as much as possible. Try air-drying with a moisturizer like Organic Root Stimulator's Olive Oil Lotion. Trim her ends as needed but try to get rid of the dead ends as soon as possible. Perhaps you can get her hair braided into individual braids and let her hair grow out a little. So that's a start :)
Your hair is very pretty and healthy--I love the way you've used a rose to cover your face--it's a nice cover without too much distraction :) *********************************************************** Thank you. I like the rose too :o)

The curls on the ends were achieved with one Bantu knot. (See “My Satin Scarf Method” album) It’s simply parted on the side.
