My Satin Scarf Method

These photos are showing how I wrap my hair up at night into a bun underneath my favorite type of satin scarf. (Since some of you have inquired about this)

I use the "Christina Satin Nights" brand. In my opinion, this is the best scarf to use at night because it stays on all night - most of the time. And it protects your hair.

These cost about $2.69 a pack at Sally's or other beauty supply stores. They come in many colors: Black, Brown, Pink, Green, Beige, Burgundy, Purple, and more.

Oh my goodness!! That's it, I wanna be like you when I grow up :-)!! Is there anyway that you can give me some tips on how to maintain my hair and on how to stretch it out for 3-4 months? Also After you take our the weave, how did you wash it so that your hair didn't get knotted up? Please help!

Thank you. As far as stretching your new growth, you can either wear low maintenance styles like twist sets (braid outs) or spiral sets so that you don't have to curl your hair everyday. It also helps hide some of the new growth. I mainly would straighten my roots and just clip my hair up. I thoroughly combed through my hair after taking the weave down, then I would actually shampoo my hair in sections in the shower. It was easier in the shower because I could keep my hair going back in one direction.
