My Satin Scarf Method

These photos are showing how I wrap my hair up at night into a bun underneath my favorite type of satin scarf. (Since some of you have inquired about this)

I use the "Christina Satin Nights" brand. In my opinion, this is the best scarf to use at night because it stays on all night - most of the time. And it protects your hair.

These cost about $2.69 a pack at Sally's or other beauty supply stores. They come in many colors: Black, Brown, Pink, Green, Beige, Burgundy, Purple, and more.

Vitapointe was a staple for me 'back in the day'. I went back to it a few months ago because it worked so well on my hair back then. It still works great on my hair now. I love it.
Yeah, I love this stuff. I'm a new fan of it because I didn't know anything about Vitapointe a year ago.

Hi, I just found this website and I plan to join. I was wondering if you have any tips on wrapping short hair (ie. Halle Berre in Boomerang). Everytime I try to wrap my hair around my head (like a beehive) I never get the center flat. I like the way you do it but dont have the hair (yet :) to make the bun. Any suggestions?
To elminate the puffiness at the TOP/CENTER of your head while wrapping, START the wrap from the top then work your way around and down. Smooth the top as flat as possible BEFORE making your way around because it's difficult to go back and fix it once it's done. (Unless you start all over again) Also, I like using foam setting lotion. I hope this helps.

What do you use daily on your hair? Your hair looks great in the pictures , i think i might have to stop by Sally's and pick this up :-P.
Currently, Vitapointe is the only thing I use on my hair daily.

hi your hair is beautiful and looks very healthy. if you don't mind can you tell me what's your hair care regime and what type of benefits does the vitapointe have. i will try your satin scarf method. looking forward to hear from you.

    My Current Regimen:
I shampoo my hair once weeky or bi-weekly. I trim as needed - most likely every 2 months or so. I get relaxers every 3 to 4 months when I'm wearing my own hair. When I wear weaves, I normally go about 5 to 7 months without a relaxer. I deep condition every 6 weeks or so. I put Vitapointe on my ends with at night (not every night), then I wrap my hair up into a bun, then I put a satin scarf on it. Most of the time I wear my hair up in a clip or in a ponytail/bun in the back.

The Vitapointe adds just enough moisture to the hair. It keeps the ends from being dry and brittle with regular use. It also "slicks" the hair down if you need it to :)
