Single flash ... the trick is to meter the ambient light and set the brightness of the flash so that it's no more than 1/3 stop brighter than the ambient light, then expose for the ambient light. The way I did it was to use a light meter which analyzes the percentage of light: ambient vs flash. I dialed down the flash until it was 60% of the subject light vs 40% from ambient.
Yes I like this alot also and I agree with Picturesca,she would look like she was being born from the surf if she had been wearing white,cool never the less.
