George Barris 41 Buick fade away fenders -
George Barris built this custom for himself after he moved to LA. It was painted Royal Metallic Maro ...more on which later would be one of the Barris trademark colors. The car was the only custom at the first SCTA Hot Rod show in '48 and was on the cover of the March '48 Road & Track. The car can be seen with diferent Caddy grilles and wheel/hubcap combinations.
