The Caddy was bought about 5 years old from John Gimelli and the first two pictures are from his driveway. The chop had been done(by ?), it had a rebuilt Chevy 350 block. The rear window (48 Chevy) was done by De Rosa. Brian finished the motor assembly, basic wiring and he got it running.
John also had a pair of 1957 Studebaker fins.
He and Brian trimmed one side and it looked so good he wanted them.
The pictures in the shop are from De Rosas. I showed him the fins and how I wanted them and he helped me with all of the details.
Brian took it to De Rosa's first around Jan. 2003 for 6 months, then returned it in Jan 2004 and had Frank Jrs help too with the dash. He wanted to remove everything except for the instrument cluster. Remove the original dash padding and fill everything and hide the switches. They blocked it again and put black tint in the DP90. That was the first time he was able to drive it to Billetproof.
