Great picture of my car, the X 51 ford. I have never seen the pictures with wide whites before. The car is safe in my garage. I bought it from John Corno in 1986. The car will be at the 2008 L A Roadster show and August Goodguys Pleasanton calif. I have a picture of it with no fins, but unable to send it. Thanks for this site. Does anyone else have pictures from long ago ? Bob Page X 51 Ford.

Thanks Rod for the info on this great custom. I could never afford to buy it as I am on S. S. but I would love to see some recent pictures of it if they are available.
See also my story of The Bat, a custom out of San Diego. It is under 40s 50s build Buicks.
    Thanks again.

I remember this car being from Portland, Oregon and I saw it once at Roseburg Senior Hi. in my freshman year 1958.
Anyone know if it is still around and where. It is a fantastic car and I hope it is still out there.
