is now nice long and smooth. Lowered the whole car and raised the stainless side trim.

This 1937 Lincoln Zephyr is built by Gary Howard for Dan Peterson.
I was asked to do a digital chop and a few other modifications.
Chopping the top on a 37-41 Lincoln is a difficult job.

The top portions are rather strange compared to other same period cars.
So for this chop I did a few things I normally would not do.
I sectioned the turret panel behind the top leading to the trunk area.
Which ment sectioning the beltline behind the doors.
The windhield was chopped, but the heavy door window frames
looked very heavy after chopping. So those where sectioned to get more in balance.
With the window openings and top height.

To be honest I had fun doing this in Photoshop to create the ultimate chop on this 37 Lincoln,
but I never would expect that Dan would go for it.
I guess Gary Howard really liked what he saw and decided to go for it.
A lot of metal cutting and pasting was the result.
I also removed the running boards and extended the front and rear fenders.

What a great project.
