Repairing Fuel Sender

rss

My fuel gauge has been reading full until I reached 250 miles. This has been going on for over 6 months (might be pretty good at this time). But I was worried that I might run out of fuel.

So I decided to clean the senders as per TT twister's info on Audiworld. (http://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1151354.phtml)

The process took about an hour as I only cleaned the primary (right) sender. I now have my fuel gauge working again.

Update: After 8,000 miles, the gauge is still working.
