On November 20,1967, Convair 880 N821TW operated as Trans World Airlines flight 128 from Los Angeles to Boston with intermediate stops in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. On approach to the Greater Cincinnati Airport {Boone County Airport}, the flight descended too quickly and crashed and burned short of runway 18. Seventy people were killed and twelve were injured.
