Is This Really Safe?
You are bidding on a used (three years old) utility trailer. Perfect for general hauling, band usage, tool trailer doubling as additional storage, as well as many other trailer uses.
Location: Mount Juliet, Tennesse
Condition: I will try to describe the condition as honestly as I possibly can but if you are not satisfied when you come to pick the trailer up you are under no obligation to buy it. Fair enough? If you are Adrian Monk-like here are the things that will cause you stomach acid.......
The first item might be to put another coat of good exterior paint on it (when it warms up!) but the paint is not bad now. Most of the spots you see in the pictures are either snow or normal dirt/mud specs from being outside. The covered enclosure is made out of plywood and has been painted and ALMOST watertight with some caulk but could use a bit more sealing up. Overall I would rate the trailer to be in fair to good condition. The tires I would rate as fair. As I took the pictures of the trailer I noticed that the tires have gone down over the last six months and it's just too blasted cold out there today for me to blow them up, so I'll just tell you instead! I WILL BLOW THEM UP PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL TO PICK THE TRAILER UP. Fair enough? Also, I just noticed that some doofus (me) did not use exterior plywood on the floor and it will need a couple of sheets replaced! That is a one cigar job in my neck of the woods. No biggie so please don't tell me it is tryin' to torque me after you agree to buy it, ok? I did not get off the last turnip truck. The other item that could be improved/fixed are the doors that probably need to be reinforced with some 2 X 2's. The lights were functional when I parked it. The trailer is equipped with safety chains.
The area inside is roughly equivalent to a UHaul 5 X 8 trailer plus it has about 24" of extra space at the rear of the trailer that is not covered. If you will note on the back of the trailer there is an end gate that sits in channels and is removed simply by lifting it out of the channels.
