Eric, Lynne & I take time out to visit the Petersen Auto Museum in L.A. and then take a walk down the Blvd. to the La Braea tar pits! The special exhibitions in the museum includes a look at "CARS" the movie, "Lowriders", and "60 years of NASCAR". Hope you enjoy the photos.

BH's Father Day celibration had a lite turn out this year, but was still great fun for everyone! BH has a great collection of cars in their museum and right now they have a nice selection of gas pumps and Juke boxes to enjoy!

Race N’ Rods 2nd Annual Car Show is held each year at the world famous Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway near Monterey California. The drive-in car show is held the same weekend as a major sports car race. So not only do you get to enter a car show, but also you can walk less then 50 feet away to watch some world-class sports car racing on a terrific track like Laguna Seca. Sponsored the last two years by MOTHERS Polishes and Waxes, they always put on a fun show with a “Poker Walk” a raffle prize give-away, and nice “Goodie Bag” with (full size!) samples of their products! Thank you MOTHERS and all the other sponsors for putting on this fun show each! One of the really neat things you get to do during the day is to take your car out on to the track with all of the other “show cars” for a lap or two. Last year I drove, this year Lynne got behind the wheel of the Monty. First let me say, I’m going to kill my buddy Rex Barden for telling her “Never to use the brakes, just accelerate out of the turns”. The first lap Lynne scared me a couple of times, the second lap she got the feel for it and became another Danica Patrick! Good job sweety! We will be back again next year, and hopefully, for as long as they hold the car show.

Decided not to do a special HOT CARS Pictorial on the GNRS this year, because no one bought the one I did last year (if you have one it's a rare collectors item :), instead I'm posting the pictures here for everyone to enjoy...

RCC Car Show in the morning, and in the afternoon helping a friend lower his Mustang, then a BBQ for all and talking model cars. All-in-all, a great day!

Found these photos in the archieves. I don't remember the date, before the turn of the century, 1990 something. The Oakland Museum gathered up some VERY historic cars, and a couple of new cars, for a great display. Unfortunately, these are my "bad" shots of the event. The good shots were sent to a magazine were they were never seen again!

Trip to Southern California for the Grand National Roadster Show. Stopped at Pyramid Lake, the Nethercut Collection in San Sylmar, went to the show all three days but took a break on Saturday to go to Balboa Island and to have dinner with friends and family.
