Pamplin Historical Park, just south of Petersburg, Virginia, is the site of the Breakout, and signaled the end of the Civil War. This fine park is devoted to the soldiers and civilians more than the well known Generals. It includes one of the finest interactive displays of civil war life, photography is not allowed in that portion, this collection features the portion that does allow photography. We urge all Americans to visit this park.
