Hair Care Regimen
Included are my daily regimen/hair care, Shea butter moisturizing mix and Daily Spritz recipes.
Please DO take the time to look at each picture, there is a paragraph or 2 of info/my routine, as of Summer 2008 it hasn't changed much.
Any of my suggestions taken should be within your own reasoning-- I am not a licensed hair specialist-- all advice or comments displayed are based on my personal experience.
FOOD for THOUGHT:
The average person grows about .5 of an inch of hair each month (in total, 6 inches per year); however, there are some people who can achieve an inch of hair growth per month (12 inches per year). There is also the factor of the resting phase in hair growth cycle--for some it is more or less than 2 months. This is all pre-determined by genetics so there is pretty much nothing that can be done to alter your growth rate significantly. So the best thing you can do for your hair is to take good care of it so that you can have a healthy head of hair.
--Just thought I should share this with you guys; hope it will prove helpful in setting realistic hair goals...Good luck and health hair growth and I hope that in some way my regimen would prove helpful for someone in better achieving their hair goals.
I am currently in the process of switching from most of the commercial products I use to natural alternatives and will post as needed. So far the use of Shea butter, alma and shikaikai powders have marked the beginning of my switch to more natural means for hair care. As of 2009: currently on hold -it's taking me a lot longer to do this...I am still looking for all natural shampoo/conditioners that work well for me. I have tried a few brands Aubrey, Giovanni, EO (worked decent) over the past couple of years, but once I use up a good deal of my current products, I will really put more energy & focus to natural products....
