This is the beginning of my hair journey! Hopefully we will see wonderful results :)

Its been three months and I have a lil bit of growth my right side is definitely growing faster

I decided to try a flexirod set on my hair last nite this is the after product, I cowashed and set w/ setting lotion, and added evoo on my ends its still kind of dry to me and my roots are really visible but it turned out ok oh and I forgot to mention I airdryed it also, cool style till this friday when I plan to wash and dc again, oh I am six weeks post, I want to get a sewin next week before the baby and Ill keep that in for about six weeks if I can bear it.....

Im getting a new protective style as a sew-in weave next week which I plan to keep in for about 6 wks here are some of my inspirations I want a full head weave with no hair out, Ive had sew-ins before w/ my hair out but this will be the first time I have one without any hair out so Im hoping it will look as natural as possible (fingers crossed)

I am still continuing my hair journey using a regimen that is sooo very simple that I got from Cathy Howse, (thanks ladies at BHM ;) my hair is thicker, healthy and it finally moves I am so close to APL I can feel it ......

i have been on my hair journey since June of 07 and am still learning about my hair and what works and what may not I have a regimen that has helped me retain growth and has added thickness to my hair, in the new year I plan to get totally serious about my hair journey, I see the progress that Cathy Howse regimen has helped me and I know I can get to my ultimate goal of BSL and beyond in the near future.

I have a great regimen and I plan to reach BSL by the end of this year and to reach APL by March of this year, there has been a setback due to post pregnancy shedding but I am trying to work it out that I dont lose to much hair or length, I am curbing this by garlic/olive oil prepoo's 2 x per
week until I see progress, I am gonna try to find some garlic shampoo or conditioner also, I believe that the change of the season also has something to do with the shedding oh and I am continuing my vits, and will be getting another sew in protective in Jan or February too.....APL in March I pray to reach that goal and then off to BSL yayy!!!!


goals: I think I need about 2-3 in for me to be APL so that will take about 4-5 months max w/o setbacks due my hair growing so slow so Ive changed my goals for 2008, from what Im seeing it seems like for most its easier to reach BSL from APL, I just need to reach APL first and hopefully my growth will coast from there.

Update***February 2008 I got my relaxer 10 wks post and I retain alot more length than I expected, I reached my goal of reaching APL alot faster so now my goal by June of this year is to be full APL gain thickness so that I can go on to my goal of BSL by Dec of this year, I am really happy about my length the see thru ends however I am not, during the next 14 wks I will stretch bc my relaxer took really well and protective style, I will also use black jamaican castor oil to thicken up. I am still continuing to take my prenatals and am gonna start my bioton 1000 mcg and b complex this week when I get it in the mail. I drink at least 96 glasses of water anyway bc I am breastfeeding. Hopefully by my bday which is when I will relax again in May my ends will be improved and alot thicker !

Ok so its been a lil minute since I updated but basically I had a setback with a quickweave I call myself getting for my bff's wedding, now ladies I know I knew better than to let my hairdresser take me back down that road again but I couldnt resist, I hadnt let glue touch my hair in over a year and look where it got me, my hair rebelled and thinned out over the two weeks I had the weave in, So since then I have vowed to never ever never ever never let that black stuff touch my hair again, if I want some hair I will kindly grow my own or opt for a instaweave or sew in......I got my ends dusted a couple of weeks ago but my hair was pretty dry post weave, Ive been moisturizing and keeping it in a protective bun, Ill be getting a razor cut bob half wig to wear this weekend and braiding and baggying my hair while wearing that for a week at a time....Any suggestions you have let me know....btw I missed yall xoxoxoxo ;)

In this album Im gonna keep my info about my experiences with virgin indian hair weave, I am not a stranger to bss hair however I am a novice with this kind of hair, I got this hair for my bday and I consider it an investment I didnt seal this time being that I dont have the time to cure it but I do have the sealant if thats something I want to try in the future, I figure Ill just be gentle with this hair for the most part, I do want to get get a closure in July for the Beyonce concert lol so Ill have another album for that. Anyway here is a lil bit of "porn" for you to enjoy lol !

In this album I will track my summer progress, I plan to continue to hide my hair for most of the year but right now I am out of my last install that I had in for about 6 wks, I took it out last friday and am wearing a half wig over my bunned hair making sure I keep it moisturise, I will be relaxing this friday and I cant wait bc Im 16 wks post and I dont think Ill ever go this long w/o a relaxer Im gonna keep it at no more than 12wk stretches I hope I dont have alot of breakage.

Hey all first of all Happy New Years, its 2010 and I have been on a long hard road with this hair growth journey I must say, I got a relaxer Sat and got about 1.5 -2 inch cut off in some areas for health, Im not mad about this trim anymore but its like I was only 3 inch away from bsl now from my nape I measured 4.5 inches to bsl and about an inch back to APL anyway, Im gonna stay positive I cant compare my journey to anyone else's but mine and my hairs health has come along way!
