This is the book of my great-great-grandfather, handed down to me by my grandmother. He was born in 1862, and must have used this book around 1869. I decided the best way to preserve it was to photograph it, specifically his little doodlings and letters. Unfortunately, my grandmother wrote in it using ink pen, but the rest of it was written by Henry Wurst as a child. The most interesting part, to me, is the drawing of a figure that appears to be wearing a top hat. Enjoy..
