African A good layer and meat bird, this massive goose has a melodious voice and a graceful bearing (stats inside).
Toulouse Characterized by its paunchy body and wrinkled, underchin skin fold (dewlap), this slowmoving goose is easy to fatten, but hard to breed. (stats iinside)
American Buff An elegant, showy goose known for its pleasant disposition and attentiveness to its young. Hardy, and a highly favored roaster.
Embden Enormous but springhtly, the blue-eyed, fastgrowing, fine-flovored Embden is the goose most often invited for Christmas dinner.
Pilgrim Once a passenger on the Mayflower, thsi is the only goose that reveals its gender by color: The male is all white. A tasty table bird.
