Little Miss Gabriel Crossed over the Rainbow bridge today 23 Dec 2002...We will miss her.
Dear Mom,

Don't weep for me for I have Crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

It is beautiful here with clean, clear ponds and skys of blue

Plenty of bugs to eat and green pastures to sleep in

I was met by all the friends that have gone before me across the Rainbow Bridge

So I have a ton of friends to show me the ropes and keep me company.

Thank you for all the love, wonder home and birthday parties you gave me...

My duck is a Pekin duck her name is Gabriel. I got her when she was 2 days old, her birthday is April 12th 1999. She was so tiny when I got her, I had never seen a baby duck in person before. We had no idea how to care for her, we had to learn quick because baby ducks grow so fast! When we got her she was so small and she didn't want to be alone at all, I had to carry her 24 hours a day. She spent a lot of time in my bathrobe pocket. She would go to bed at 10:00pm and wake up at 3:00am! I was so tired, baby ducks are a lot of work.
