| | | | | | DONT STEAL MY PICS. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL! | - Transitioning Period: AKA Weave-O-Rama!
-

I started wearing the weave and braids just because it was easier when I had mandatory PT (physical training) every morning. Then I just wanted to grow it out. After about a year I decided I liked my hair and wanted it natural. But then I reenlisted and can't take care of it the way I should if it were natural...so I relaxed. I cut off all the old relaxed ends and started anew. Long healthy hair here I come!!! Whew! - photos: 6 (439 kB)

I grew my hair out for a year and a half. I was going to transition to natural but then I reenlisted in the military and it's hard to keep within standards with "au natural" so I relaxed on April 8, 2006. This is the beginning of my healthy hair/ hair growth journey! 2006. This is the beginning of my healthy hair/ hair growth journey! - photos: 24 (1 MB)

Edited to add----I chopped it all off...and I'm glad!!
Even though I managed to curb the breakage, the damage was done. So I started '07 with a resolution to baby the broken parts, help them grow with Naturallady's oderless MTG, and keep everything else the same length till I'm back on track< -----Scrap that plan!! - photos: 28 (4 MB)
