Years 1 through 3
I beleive this is some of the sorriest hair documentation seen ever but this is what I could scrape up. There will be more to come. I will have to make a road trip to my mother's house to get more pics.

My Fourth Year
This was a big year for me. I got married, I did a lot of traveling and made a committment to my hair. I am approaching my 4 year nappiversary in Dec and I want to begin year 5 with healthy, virtualy heat free styling practices. The focus will shift here.

The Fifth Year
Oh Yeah. I completely forgot to create this album and begin putting pics in it. Well I started this year of nappydom with bangs and a new philosophy on my hair. Protect, protect and protect. I am very excited about what the year has in store for my tresses. I guess we will see.

Can't believe it but it is here and the hair Crisis is over. I am just loving it.

I felt the need to start a new folder because people are still confused about whether my hair is natural or relaxed.....it's relaxed and has been for almost six months now.

My routine

OK so I don't really have a set regimine that I follow, at least not as faithfully as some of you ladies do. I kinda go with the flow but that is probably why I have so many crazy hair issues.

Issues aside, I have been asked by many what I do with my hair so for my hair's sake and to help someone in need, I am going to get some stability going for my crown. I will take pics of my products which are minimal, and a tutorials for my styles.

Be patient with me. I am kinda spacey and it may take the rest of the year for me to get this all down. LOL This is a decent start. I just need to get pics of my products in here.

Work it Out!!!

Yeah I know everyone is doing it but I gotta get it done too. I must must lose some weight.

I have never wanted to be extra tiny but I can't handle wear I am in life right now. I am 5'3 163 lbs. So you know what that means. Gotta get it done.

My plan
Eat more but healthier. I am very weird when it comes to eating. I love rich foods so I consume a lot of calories but not very much food at times. So I need to eat much more than I do but good things like veggies, fruits, beans and such. I am really working to eliminate things like cheese from my diet. I live off cheese and unfortunatly over 55% of my daily caloric intake comes from cheese. So I am changing that.

Workout- I think it is really important to factor in everyday activities we do such as cleaning, walking the dog, hitting the sheets with SO and so on these things burn calories and if we knew how much we probably do them more often. I had been wonderifg why I was not over 200 lbs a long time ago with my cheese and bread diet but it is because I burn so many calories playing with my dog, cleaning up after my dog and satisfying the dog within my husband LOL. Now that I am consistently taking dance classes (which seem to be the best way for me to get in shape) and not maintaining my carton of Feta cheese habit a day, the weight is falling off.

Monday- Cardio 30-45 min. and 20-30 mins Stregnth training
Tues- 60 min hip hop dance class and 60 min Belly Dancing Class.
Wed- 60- 75 min African Dance Class (Killer)
Thurs- 60 min KickBoxing Class or 30 min Cardio and 30 min strength training.
Friday-60min Spinning Class or hours of serious dancing in Da Club. LOL
Saturday- 2 Hour Bridal Bootcamp with a friend or 45 mins Cardio and 1hour of strength training. (Saturday is my dumbell day so it is a very tedious weightlifting day. I do 1 to 2 excersizes for each muscle group in my arms. Gotta get my Jada Pinket arms on.)
Sunday-A sister gets some rest but I usually take my dog for a long walk in the park.

Update 5/14/07-I am down 5 lbs. So that puts me at 158. I am very excited about that.
I joined the self 2007 challenge www.self.com and I am doing better than I expected. If you are trying to challenge yourself to get that body or weight you want, this may be a very good tool. They have calorie trackers for both your food intake and your workouts. It is really inspiring to see the amount of calories I have consume next to the number of calories I burned working out. This is absolutely wonderful. It motivates me to keep it up and that is all I need to do to get the body I used to have back quickly.

So you know what that means. Gotta get it done.
