2008 Days of Caring

Due to the dramatically increased demand for food, we focused our Day of Caring effort on food collections and hunger awareness. Eleven grocery stores in the county served as public drop-off points for food on Sept. 5th, while other local companies ran internal food drives. Other volunteer groups worked at soup kitchens and food pantreis. Overall, 165 volunteers from 42 companies were involved in the effort.
