Back in October of 2005 I picked up just a shell of an old Monogram model A coupe from a guy. It was loaded with glue, missing just about everything, and pretty sad looking. I brought it home, and figured maybe someday I could make something cool out of it. While cutting up another 23-window Deluxe Micro for my barndoor project, I found some inspiration...and another use for a Hasegawa '67 VW panel.

I had a spare Gunze-Sangyo '56 Beetle laying about, and I decided to make it into a replica of a WW2-era German postal vehicle I saw in a magazine once.

I'm off and on tinkering with 2 Hasegawa Bus models, a panel and a 23-window Deluxe, backdating them to the Barndoor era....and learning a lot in the process.

Many builders of Mk1 & Mk2 models are looking to install VR6 engines in their cars, much like their 1:1 counterparts.
Using parts borrowed from a friend's Fujimi Mk3 GTI kit, I made molds and popped a few engine pieces out in resin. They're not bad really, but I should hold on tight to my day job for sure.

I happened upon an unbuilt Fujimi Mk2 GTI a couple of years ago; my plan is to make it into a replica of 'Rocky,' my first '85 GTI.

One of my 'guilty pleasures' is these late 70's two-door Caddy vehicles. I'll likely never own a real one....much less have the space for it....but I can still enjoy one in scale.

Inspired by a slew of recent posts on the Hobby Heaven Message Board regarding VW Beetle accessories, I made use of a few spare bits I had laying around.

I picked up my copy of this new and much anticipated new release this week.

No plans for it as of yet, but I had to have it.

I picked up an out-of-production set of white metal BRM wheels on Ebay a few years back, and was debating which model would get them. After some practice, I was able to cast a few extra sets.....now I don't have to choose just one.

Using the Aoshima kit, I'll be building my favorite movie car of all time; a resin transkit from AFX will help make the version of the car from the first 'Mad Max' film.
In addition to watching the movie a hundred or so more times, I'll also be drawing heavily on my friend Mark's 1:1 replica for inspiration.

About 2 years ago, I started in on this Revellogram 'Cuda kit; after seeing Joe Rogan's "Sick Fish" on TV, I was inspired to build my own custom E-body........sadly, I ran out of steam shortly after doing a little body prep(and a lot of brainstorming).

A few years back I bought an unfinished Mad Max conversion, based on the AutoArt/Biante 1/18th-scale XB-GT Ford Falcon....I'm finally starting to make some headway on it, with a little help & cutsom parts from some friends.
