A friend of mine has a G-gauge(1/22.5) railroad layout in the works, and I decided to do a few vehicles as a surprise gift for him. This Impala came out pretty well, and the weathering I did even inspired Ken Hamilton to award me the Scale Auto magazine "Tip of the Month" in the April 2006 issue.

This is another model I put together for my friend's G-gauge railroad layout. It was an old built-up, and it became my first experiment with the Modern Options "Instant Rust" kit.

Another model being built as a gift to my friend Tom's G-gauge railroad layout. He wanted my stakebed, but that wouldn't happen...I decided to make one for him.

Our buddy Don has a very mean and clean '70 Monte, and I had a lot of fun creating a 'beater' version of it for the junkyard diorama.

I promised Tom that I would include at least one of my own cars in the junkyard diorama, after what I did to his precious 'Cuda and Don's Monte Carlo.

Another 'personal' addition to the junkyard dio. A fellow Mopar lover and dealer tech, Charlie was the first person Tom met when he moved here in 1978; his '68 Charger has been entombed in his driveway for the last 15 or so years.
I secretly met Charlie this past spring to take reference photos of the car, and surprised Tom with the nearly finished model in October.
