This is a temporary album, containing a few shots I took while at a museum lawn show in August; I plan on shooting more pics soon on a full indoor visit

A very popular exhibit which included many unrestored vehicles, and some that were saved from 'extinction' as well.
Tom Cotter, noted car hunter and author of 'The Cobra in The Barn,' hosted the opening ceremony and autographed copies of his book.

This was the first 'make it & take it' model car event held at the museum. My friend Matt was overseeing the event in conjunction with the museum, but I got the chance to step in and help out shortly before the day arrived. Turnout was good, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

This event, part of the Saratoga Automobile Museum's summer lawn show schedule, featured hot rods, customs, and specialty/kit cars.

This exhibit features roughly 2 dozen motorcycles, many with deep historical significance; it will be at the museum through mid-July. When the museum gets their overdue printed material, I'll update this album with captions and accurate descriptions.

A 'members only' breakfast event was held on the 18th of March, and it was the first outing for our new Nikon digital camera.

The regional chapter of the Pierce Arrow club was passing through the area on the way to their national event in MA.
About 50 cars were expected at various times throughout the day, although the 90+ degree weather kept me from snapping pics of no more than 30 of them. I had fun with a few 'artsy-fartsy' ornament & museum sign shots.

Due to the large number of photos, and my limited knowledge of Pierce vehicles, I'm not going to even attempt captions for all of them

This event is part of the museum's summer lawn show series, and we made it a point to attend. Sunny and clear skies, along with temps in the mid-80's made for a nice time.

I don't recall the exact date of this event, and I kinda 'misplaced' the pictures until recently....no captions, just pictures this time around.

A couple of non-German cars showed up, but still grabbed my attention. I also included a couple of shots from the GTO exhibit that was going on then

"Two people, two seats, unbridles horsepower to burn and a winding road ahead."

This exhibit ran from February 9 to June 1, 2009, and featured strictly convertibles and roadsters. All of my photos, including my 'artsy' shots are here.

A threat of rain(and a few scattered showers) kept more than a few folks home this day, but turnout was still pretty impressive.

Running from July 27 to November 2, this exhibit featured many fine examples of the luxury American marque; several vehicles were on loan from the GM 'Heritage' collection, and Billy Gibbons' "CadZZilla" was a special draw for many of us.

This was the second year for the gathering of Airstream and other travel trailer enthusiasts at the museum; it's a good time, and everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

A dozen and a half of Jack Gillette's Corvettes were selected for this exhibit....and I understand he has nearly 60 altogether.

All the cool cars aren't inside, you know...sometimes, an odd or interesting ride shows up in the parking lot, and deserves a little attention

The Adirondack Triumph Association, along with the Saratoga Auto Museum, put on another great show this year. Even though it is not British, the highlight for many of us was the historic 1909 Alco 'Black Beast' racer; the car has ties to our area, even though the Alco automobiles weren't built here(like the trains were).
I didn't take many photos, and most were reference/detail shots for my friend Tommy's MG resto.

A crisp October morning...and by 'crisp' I mean 40-45 degrees...didn't stop a large number of folks(and their cars) dressed for the occasion.
I'm pretty sure Matt and I were the only ones foolish enough to bring a car with no form of heating system.

Also included in this album are a couple of pictures from the previous evening's opening of the new 'Right Coast Rods' exhibit

This exhibit features period hot rods from the northeast and upper midwest; a couple are completely unrestored, and one is a new and very faithfully done car. This exhibit runs from October 23rd 2010 through May 8th 2011.

There may be a few double pics in this album, but there's a whole lot of stuff there that warrants a second look.

I didn't get any pics of the concours-level cars, as the weather went south....and my 2 year-old had a mild meltdown...but I was able to shoot a few things that caught my eye

The 2nd annual show put on by Redline and the Saratoga Auto Museum was pretty well attended, and the weather cooperated as well.
Luciano was only 15 days old, and this was his first car show

This exhibit had us covered for the winter of 2011-2012, as it opened in October and moves along in May.

Many of the pictures are doubles, as I made 2 different visits, and the 918RSR hybrid was only there for the first 3 days, so I had to shoot multiples of that one.
