Fotki contests are going on all the time.. Everyone is welcome..come on and join in the fun....
Realize though that the Fotki voting system is FAR Far from perfect, starting with being able to see comments before voting is over.. then everyones friends can see who's photo it is and give them higher scores, or lower scores if they don't like you :):)..There are many other flaws, and even some people who find "many" ways to cheat. So don't be discouraged if your photo does not do as well as you think it should..
The fun is in meeting everyone, and seeing all the amazing things around the world.. I will say the Top 3 to 24 are "almost" always the true top shots...but not always!! I have seen many shots out of focus.. off topic, no artistic value, bland..way way over edited beat many far better photos.. so play anyway and "try" not to be offended..
also..Everyones Moniters are different to,What you see on your moniter may not be how everyones moniter picks it up:)
Also realize anyone can download the contest photos, they are not protected...
