Range Weeks Black Belt Test

Tuesday evening, May 15, 2007, at the ATF Tang Soo Do Martial Arts Class held a test for the rank of Jr. Black Belt for Mr. Range Weeks. Those in attendance on the test board included: Mrs. Janet Atkinson, Mr. Chance Weeks, Mr. Gary Ring, Mr. Robert Warden, Mr. Chris Warden, Dr. Keith Waggoner, Mr. David Coker, Mrs Emily Boggs, Mr. William T. Fortson and Mr. Fred Weeks. Junior Black Belt is awarded to those students that have indicated the abilities and proficiency of the rank of Black Belt but are under 16 years of age. Mr. Range Weeks, age 12, was tested not only in the traditional forms of the system, but basic hands, basic feet and a over all understanding of the Tang Soo Do karate system to the test board. Fellow students attended the test and participated in the test in the sparing portion of the test. Mr. Range Weeks was awarded his Junior Black Belt Certificate by Dr. Keith Waggoner in behalf of all the test board.
