Black Rock hosted the 2007 Lawrence County Tournament that involved the following area teams: Walnut Ridge Bobcats, Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats, Black Rock Zebras, Black Rock Lady Zebras, Lynn Hillcrest Screamin Eagles, Lynn Hillcrest Lady Screamin Eagles, Imboden Sloan Hendrix Greyhounds, Imboden Sloan Hendrix Lady Greyhounds, Hoxie Mustangs and the Hoxie Lady Mustangs. With all the great action happening in both of Black Rock's ballfields it was difficult to decide on which game to watch. Trying to keep up with the majority of the games going on was causing a lot of great softball and baseball action being missed.

Lynn's Hillcrest Screamin Eagles faced off the Walnut Ridge Bobcats in the final game of the Lawrence County Tournament at Black Rock Wednesday afternoon, April 18, 2007. The Screamin Eagles had the lead until the bottom of the 6th inning when the Bobcats scored three home runs winning the tournament in the 7th inning with a score of 13 to 12 in favor of the Bobcats.
