Monday, April 6, 2009, the Hoxie Mustangs pitted their skills against the Lake City Riverside Rebels on their home diamond. The wind was strong and the temperature low which prohibited some of the best play of the day. The Riverside Rebels defeated the Mustangs at day's end.

The Walnut Ridge Bobcats pitted their skills against the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves at the W.R. Glenn Sports Complex at the Walnut Ridge Park. Both the Bobcat Varsity as well as the Bobcat Junior Varsity defeated the Timberwolves by a large margin.

Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2009, the Walnut Ridge Bobcats pitted their skills on the ball diamond against Cotter Warriors. The Bobcats took the lead early in the beginning of the game and kept the lead to win the game.
