The NEA Tournament held in Jonesboro came to a end on Saturday, December 31, 2005, with some barn burner games. The Tournament showed the entire North East part of the State exactly how good our High School players are in their chosen sports.

Pocahontas' Girls defeated Rivercrest with a score of 52 to 51 in the girls upper division.. Izard County Consolidated won against Buffalo Island Central with a score of 80 to 58 in the girls' lower division. Blytheville won against Jonesboro High School 49 to 41 in the boys upper division. Riverside versus Cave City with Cave City winning with a score of 80 to 79 in the boys' lower division.
